Cardiff Sixth Form College is a co-educational, independent boarding college for pupils aged from 14-19. It has been the top school in the UK in the past 11 years and has achieved unrivalled academic results. The College currently has around 380 students, of which 85% are full boarders and from over 45 different countries around the world. There are now two campuses – one in Cardiff and one in Cambridge.

Curriculum

The College offers two-year A Level programmes, two year GCSEs and one year GCSEs, as well as summer schools (Oxbridge Preparation, Medical School Preparation, Academic).  Careers support is comprehensive and includes work placement, careers-based societies, extra academic courses/ extended projects and guidance on university preparation is provided for each student.

Admissions

For A Level, the entry requirements for international students are:

• Four entrance tests in the subjects they would like to study at A Level 
• IELTS score of 6.5+ (academic UKVI module)
• College interview (via Skype/Zoom if necessary)
• GL online reasoning assessment
• Application form
• School reference reports
• Previous exam transcripts (if any)

For GCSE, the entry requirements for international students are:

• Entrance papers in English and Maths 
• IELTS requirements are 5.0 for two year GCSE and 5.5 for one year GCSE course
• College interview (via Skype/Zoom if necessary)
• GL online reasoning assessment
• Application form
• School reference reports
• Previous exam transcripts (if any)
